Elaine C. Murphy, nee Rosen, 86, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family and adored cat Sheba; loving mother of Leslie (Marci) Murphy and Donna (Bill) Wittert; cherished grandma Mikka of Kevin & Michelle Murphy and Robby & Julie Wittert; treasured sister of the late Renee (the late Nate) Snow. Elaine was kind and good natured. She always had a warm smile for her family and friends. Mrs. Murphy was a devoted long time Chicago Public School teacher. Chapel service 2:30 PM Wednesday at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
